In a kaleidoscope of sonic brilliance, Cory Wong animated The House of Blues in Dallas Sunday night. Bringing with him the beautiful Monica Martin as a feature and the incredible Latin group La Lom as support. The Venue was illuminated in an energetic and vibrant presence, creating a cartoon-like experience and leaving fans craving more.

The diverse crowd–a mix of Caucasians and Hispanics–settled in, creating a quiet yet content atmosphere. Some were old, some young, but all drinking, grabbing food, and designating where they would stand for the night.

Emerging quietly onto the stage, La Lom immediately mesmerized the audience with incredible guitar riffs in a 60’s cumbia style. While different from the sounds of Wong, La Lom was still a solid addition to the show that for sure left them with some new fans!

Suddenly, Cory Wong burst onto the stage with a boundless sparkle, igniting the atmosphere with his electrifying presence. Backed by a powerhouse band consisting of 6 horn players, 2 keyboardists, 1 bass player, 1 drummer, and 2 guitarists, Wong delivered a performance that was nothing short of spectacular.

The stage was a riot of vivid colors, with “Cory Wong” spelled out in grass letters on a massive banner, adding to the visual feast. Mid-show, the band changed outfits into another set of matching joggers, continuing the stimulation.

A special moment happened when Wong brought out Monica Martin to join the band, captivating the crowd with her soulful vocals.

As the night drew to a close, Wong and his band engaged in a Q&A session, connecting with fans on a personal level and promising to return.

The unforgettable performer left an unfading mark in Dallas, solidifying his reputation as a captivating live musician and leaving an everlasting impression on the city.
